Last week, our President, Chris Vecchi, traveled to New Orleans for Vantaca Vision 2026, the annual conference for community management companies that use the Vantaca platform. This year’s theme was "Forward, Together," and it captures our story with Vantaca perfectly: a partnership built on moving our company, our team and our communities forward side by side. It turned out to be a week for the books. Chris took the main stage to share how Eclipse has used Vantaca to change the way we support our communities for the better, and Eclipse was recognized at the Vanty Awards with the Community Voice Award.

Sharing the Eclipse story on the main stage
Eclipse went live with Vantaca and its AI platform, HOAi, in December 2025. We have written about why we made the move and what it means for the future of community management. At Vision, Chris had the chance to tell that story to a room full of management company leaders in a conversation about navigating change while building positive momentum for our owners and communities.
Why we made the change
Before Vantaca, our prior software held the accounting, but much of the real work lived in inboxes, spreadsheets and people’s memories. Too much depended on individual effort, and every new community added weight and repetitious tasks to the same people. As Chris put it on stage, heroics don’t scale.
We evaluated nine platforms against more than 160 criteria. Vantaca stood out because it is built around how management work actually flows. Its action items work like a conveyor belt, giving every request a defined path, an owner and a next step. That fits the way we like to build: establish the process, test it, refine it, and then optimize it for the real world.
A true partnership
From day one, we knew we were in good hands. Cameron, Kim, Myles, Dylan, Anna, Sara and Natalie supported our onboarding from start to finish, and they became friends as much as partners. They treated our problems as their own and stayed with them until they were solved. We came in with high expectations, especially for moving our data, and Kim and her team helped us get there. Together, we helped pioneer a data migration path for the Vantaca clients that followed.
Growing without losing the personal touch
Growth usually creates distance between a company’s leadership and its customers. Eclipse has grown significantly since our transition, and Vantaca has allowed us to do the opposite. Our leaders personally follow up with homeowners after their requests are resolved, not because there is a problem, but simply to thank them and ask how we did. Clean data and consistent workflows are what make that kind of personal, high-touch service possible across a growing portfolio.

The transition has also contributed directly to our growth. Boards notice the difference in organization and transparency, and associations have chosen Eclipse as a direct result of the way we now work. The platform helps us grow, and growth gives us more opportunities to continue raising the standard in our industry.
The software is the platform
Is Vantaca a competitive advantage? Absolutely, but the advantage doesn’t come from having a particular software. It’s what you do with it. It is the freedom to define the ideal process, the ability to build that process into the software so it doesn’t depend on any one person, and the opportunity to automate the tedious work so our team can focus on the uniquely human side of our business. In Chris’s words, the software is the platform. What we build with it is the competitive advantage.
Recognized with a Vanty Award
The Vanty Awards celebrate the best in community management, and this year Eclipse was honored with the Community Voice Award. The award recognizes our collaboration with Vantaca on the features and fixes our boards and homeowners identify, including our active role in helping develop and test them.
That is something we take seriously. When a board member or homeowner tells us something could work better, we don’t just work around it. We share it with Vantaca, work together on the solution and help test it before it reaches everyone. It means the people we serve have a real voice in the tools that serve them, and the improvements benefit communities well beyond our own. This recognition belongs to our entire team, who embrace change and keep homeowners and boards at the center of everything they do.

What this means for our communities
For the boards and homeowners we serve across Ohio and Northern Kentucky, all of this shows up in everyday ways: faster responses, clear ownership of every request, accurate financial information and managers who have more time for the people side of community management. As a fully remote workforce, technology isn’t a convenience for us. It’s the office, and it enables our model where managers live and work close to the communities they serve.
Thank you to the entire Vantaca team for an incredible week in New Orleans and for being such a great partner. And thank you to our team, whose hard work made this recognition possible. We are excited to keep moving forward, together.
